Cemented carbide crystal phase

What is the grade of cemented carbide?

Tungsten carbide (WC+Co+Other), also referred to as cemented carbide, is a composite material manufactured by a process called powder metallurgy.
T.C powder, generally ranging in proportion between 70%-97% of the total weight, is mixed with a binder metal, usually cobalt or nickel and other carbides such as titanium carbide, tantalum carbide, niobium carbide, chromium carbide, etc.
The Ready to Press Powder (RTP) of tungsten carbide cobalt nickel and other tungsten carbide powders is compacted in a die and then sintered in HIP furnace.

Also we available as Binderless Tungsten Carbide grades

Applied to optical lens pressing mold, water jet sand pipe nozzle, high wear-resistant bearings and so on.

Cemented Carbide Production Process

WC + Co/Ni + Other carbide Weighing in of the ingredients → Milling (producing mixture with wet milling) → Spray Drying (vacuum drying) → Blending Test → Compaction (CIP Cold Isostatic Pressing) → Soft Machining → Sintering (HIP 1450ºC) → Machining (Grinding, EDM) → Subzero Treatment(-196°C)→Quality Control
