Important physical properties of Cemented Carbide

1. Density

Indicates the accuracy and denseness of the cemented carbide composition.

2.Hardness

Rockwell hardness HRA, Vickers hardness HV, indicating the ability of cemented carbide to resist plastic deformation.

3.Magnetic saturation

Generally indicates the level of carbon content in cemented carbide.

4. Coercive magnetic force

Generally indicates the size of the average grain size of WC.

5. Flexural strength

The ability of the material to resist bending without fracture, mainly used to examine the strength of brittle materials. It is a comprehensive reflection of the manufacturing level of cemented carbide, and it is easy to find the material defects by fracture observation.

6. Impact toughness
