1.Total Production of Cemented Carbide
According to the statistics provided by 53 enterprises, the total production of cemented carbide in the third quarter is 11738.26 tons, which is 12.66% higher than that of the first quarter and 6.83% lower than that of the second quarter; the cumulative production of cemented carbide in the first three quarters is 34829.52 tons, which is 2.67% higher than that of the same period of last year.
According to the estimation of the situation, there are about 4000 tons of cemented carbide production in the society not counted, according to this estimation, the actual total production of cemented carbide in the first three quarters of the country is about 39,000 tons, and the statistical amount accounts for 89.31% of the actual total production. Compared with the same period of last year, 27 enterprises increased production by 2785.94 tons and 25 enterprises decreased production by 1881.38 tons, with a net increase of 904.56 tons in total cemented carbide production.
2.Classification yield of cemented carbide
(1) Carbide for cutting tools
Cemented carbide for cutting tools includes CNC inserts, traditional inserts, bars and other cemented carbide for cutting. According to the statistics provided by 43 enterprises, the production of cemented carbide for cutting tools in the third quarter was 5981.44 tons, an increase of 21.15% over the first quarter and a decrease of 6.48% over the second quarter; the cumulative production of cemented carbide for cutting tools in the first three quarters totaled 17,314.85 tons, an increase of 0.37% over the same period of last year, accounting for 49.71% of the total production of cemented carbide. Compared with the same period of last year, 20 enterprises increased production of 1430.62 tons, 22 enterprises reduced production of 1455.78 tons, 1 enterprise is not comparable, the actual net increase in production of cemented carbide for cutting tools 63.81 tons.
Among them, according to statistics from 19 CNC insert production enterprises, the third quarter production of CNC inserts 162,035,100 pieces, compared with the first quarter, the second quarter, respectively, an increase of 25.66% and 4.74%; the cumulative total of the first three quarters of production of 454,494,600 pieces of CNC inserts, compared with the same period last year, an increase of 11.08%. Compared with the same period last year, there are 16 enterprises to increase production of 46,036,200 pieces, there are 2 enterprises to reduce production of 13,415,000 pieces, 1 enterprise is not comparable to the actual net increase of 44,694,700 pieces of CNC blades.
According to the statistics provided by 29 enterprises, the output of cemented carbide rods in the third quarter was 3781.73 tons, an increase of 25.23% over the first quarter and a decrease of 9.65% over the second quarter; the cumulative production of cemented carbide rods in the first three quarters was 10,981.89 tons, an increase of 1.25% year on year, accounting for 31.53% of the total output of cemented carbide. Accounting for 63.42% of the category of cemented carbide for cutting tools. Compared with the same period of last year, 13 enterprises increased production by 1233.59 tons, 15 enterprises reduced production by 1097.84 tons, 1 enterprise was not comparable, and the actual net increase in the production of cemented carbide rods was 135.75 tons.
(2)Rock drilling and engineering cemented carbide
Cemented carbide for rock drilling and engineering includes ball teeth, coal cutting teeth, needle blades, impact drill blades, snowplow teeth and other cemented carbide for rock drilling and engineering. According to the statistics provided by 20 enterprises, the production of rock drilling and engineering cemented carbide in the third quarter was 2427.64 tons, an increase of 6.3% over the first quarter and a decrease of 11.85% over the second quarter; the cumulative production of rock drilling and engineering cemented carbide in the first three quarters was 7470.92 tons, an increase of 11.82% over the same period of last year, accounting for 21.45% of the total production of cemented carbide. Compared with the same period of last year, 12 enterprises increased production of 1220.6 tons and 8 enterprises reduced production of 430.68 tons, the actual net increase of rock drilling and engineering tungsten carbide 789.92 tons.
Among them, 11 enterprises produced 1020.73 tons of ball and pinion cemented carbide in the third quarter, an increase of 8.09% over the first quarter and a decrease of 14.35% over the second quarter; the cumulative production of ball and pinion cemented carbide in the first three quarters totaled 3,156.77 tons, an increase of 39.32% over the same period of last year, accounting for 9.06% of the total production of cemented carbide and 42.25% of the total production of alloy for rock drilling and engineering. Compared with the same period of last year, 9 enterprises increased production by 1035.48 tons, 2 enterprises decreased production by 144.57 tons, and the actual net increase in production of cemented carbide was 890.91 tons.
(3) Carbide for wear-resistant parts
Carbide for wear-resistant parts includes rollers, jack hammers, press cylinders, drawing dies, cold pier dies and other wear-resistant parts. According to the statistics provided by 25 enterprises, the production of cemented carbide for wear-resistant parts in the third quarter was 2866.96 tons, up by 4.21% over the first quarter and down by 5.15% over the second quarter; the cumulative production of cemented carbide for wear-resistant parts in the first three quarters was 8716.63 tons, down by 0.68% over the same period last year, accounting for 25.03% of the total production of cemented carbide. Compared with the same period of last year, 13 enterprises increased production by 649.06 tons, 11 enterprises reduced production by 664.33 tons, 1 enterprise data is not comparable, the actual net reduction in production of cemented carbide for wear-resistant parts by 15.27 tons.
(4) Other cemented carbide
Other cemented carbide includes steel joint cemented carbide and cemented carbide used for other purposes, such as cemented carbide used for handicraft jewelry, including watch cases, watch chains, rings and so on. According to the data provided by 11 enterprises, the output of other cemented carbide in the third quarter is 402.13 tons, which is 5.21% less than that of the first quarter and 11.4% more than that of the second quarter; the total output of other cemented carbide in the first three quarters is 1,164.33 tons, which is 18.35% less than that of the same period last year, and it accounts for 3.34% of the total output of cemented carbide.
3. Cemented Carbide ready to press powder ( RTP)
According to the statistics provided by 16 companies, a total of 6,161.31 tons of cemented carbide blends were produced in the third quarter, up by 0.16% over the first quarter and down by 12.68% over the second quarter; the cumulative production of cemented carbide blends in the first three quarters was 19,368.9 tons, up by 3.82% over the same period last year. Compared with the same period last year, 9 companies increased production and 7 companies decreased production. The actual net increase of cemented carbide mixture production was 713.44 tons.
4. Hard facing materials
Hard facing materials include cast tungsten carbide, sprayed alloy powder, copper-based welding wire and other hard facing materials. In the third quarter, a total of 5 companies produced 731.33 tons of hard facing materials, a decrease of 14.68% and 16.55% compared to the first quarter and quarter, respectively; the cumulative production of hard facing materials in the first three quarters was 2,479.14 tons, a decrease of 19.69% compared to the same period last year.
